Generally speaking, what we receive from parents, grandparents, and those relations in the past is considered our legacy. Most of the time we have no control over how our family members live their lives. However, we are responsible for our actions and the heritage we live behind to our family members who come after us. Even ordinary people can leave behind a great and Godly heritage. Ruth is a wonderful example of how God can use ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things.
