Breakout Groups:

Bema Discipleship: This group is based on the Bema Discipleship podcast. Each week, group members listen to an episode of the podcast, and then discuss the Scripture from the podcast during group time. The focus of the podcast is helping listeners become better readers of Scripture by learning about the Eastern/Jewish context in which the Bible was written. This semester, the group will be in the New Testament epistles. Led by Jacob Thorington.

Stories of Hope: Jesus consistently gave hope to people who didn’t think they deserved it. This group will be using the Discovery Bible Study method to read and discuss stories of hope from Jesus’ life in the Gospels. Be inspired by these stories and learn how to read Scripture in a transformative way. Led by Brian Myers.

Book of Ezekiel: This group will work through the Old Testament book of Ezekiel over the course of the semester. While it is generally a little-known book, it has so much to say to us today, including themes of, when God interrupts our plans, God’s presence in dark times, God giving us a new heart, and more. Each week will include a time of teaching, individual reflection, and group discussion. Led by Adam Grant

Service Time: 10:30 a.m.
