“Christians are made, not born.” This quote from the early church leader Tertullian reflects the early church’s understanding that followers of Jesus must go through a long process of learning Christ. As we examine some signature teachings of Jesus in Luke 10-11 this summer, we too will learn Christ as we examine our lives compared to the life of Jesus.
