Soles 4 Souls: Wearing Out Poverty

soles4soulscircle4.eps copyOne of our FCC Life Groups are collecting shoes for Soles 4 Souls to help those that are less fortunate and don’t have proper shoes.

Collection boxes will be downstairs in the children’s area and also upstairs in the connector just to the left of the Worship Center. We will be collecting shoes through September 1st.  For more info, Contact Hayden Cross.

FCC’s Fall Home Build will be on Saturday, Sept. 6th in Fairview, TN. For more info or to register to help, contact Holly Schwettman.

FCC is part of the Fall Faith Build for Williamson County at Habitat for Humanity.  Read about the family that we will be helping build a house for.  What a great way to give back and help those that are so deserving of a nice place to live.


Youth Encouragement Services (YES): Ongoing opportunities


YES has 3 community centers with needs like tutoring, cleaning/repairs, offering classes like computer literacy, etc.  Contact Jerry Herbert—or call Youth Encouragement Services  (YES) in Nashville at (615) 315-5333 or email them.  Also on Wed nights, YES (the McIver Center) will be hosting family nights for their neighbors–with food, worship and a message. They need help with cooking, teaching/playing with the children and generally fellowship.

well The Well Outreach Food Pantry

The Wells seeks to meet food assistance needs for the residents of Spring Hill, Thompsons Station and College Grove.  At this time we do this through two programs – our pantry, which provides groceries to families who seek our help, and a backpack program, JetPacks, which provides weekend food for school children in Spring Hill public schools.  We also have a professional counselor who provides counseling services for clients with fees based on a sliding scale.
